Planet Washington’s Ken Rynne Explained Washington, DC in mirth and song to members of the Diplomatic Corps and other people who know John Kerry’s direct dial on the eve of President Obama’s 2d Inauguration. They laughed, they sang along, and gave us better than a diplomatic reception.

Planet Washington’s "Most Creative" Ken Rynne Wins Foundation Support – Grantmakers’ Annual Meeting – DC’s Arena Stage
So you liked the musical RENT? You’ll love GRANT!
At a recent private show, Planet Washington performed an original parody at the new Arena Stage in DC for the annual meeting of the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers (WRAG), the 100 largest private foundations in the greater Washington region! “Grantmaker!” (parody of “Matchmaker” from “Fiddler on the Roof”).
We were accompanied by Planet Washington’s Frank Plumer and joined in song by some very talented and enthusiastic members of local foundations on stage and throughout the audience. There was a voluntary sing-along for all members attending the luncheon!
The featured luncheon speaker — addressed Creativity — and was delighted with our show — deeming us one of the true creatives!
Many thanks to the Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation for sponsoring the outstanding entertainment – including Planet Washington!
Ken Rynne & Planet Washington is available to entertain your next event – and to write an original ditty to delight your guests or honorees!
